For your consideration, a 1947 Silvertone Aristocrat Model 57 712 archtop acoustic, built by Kay. This is a lovely old full-size archtop with a whole lot of visual charm. The ornate headstock, sharp inlays, and big vintage proportions give it a dressed-up look without losing the honest old catalog-guitar personality.
This one is all original aside from the tuners. There is no adjustable truss rod, but the neck has a proper amount of relief and the guitar is playing well with medium-low action. There is still room to bring it down further if the next owner prefers it lower.
The big chunky neck feels right for the era, and the sound is exactly what you want from an old Kay-built archtop: warm, thumpy, woody, and full of character. It is fully playable as it sits, fun to pick up, and looks great doing it.
