The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue faithfully recreates one of the most influential guitar amplifiers ever built. Based on the legendary blackface Deluxe Reverb introduced in 1965, it delivers the unmistakable clean tones, lush spring reverb, and smooth tube-driven tremolo that have made it a favourite of players for more than half a century. From country and blues through to rock, jazz, and countless studio recordings, few amplifiers have proven as versatile or enduring.
Built in 2013, this example captures everything that made the original so desirable. Its pair of 6V6 power tubes produce 22 watts of articulate, dynamic headroom before breaking into the warm, natural overdrive that Deluxe Reverbs are renowned for. The onboard four-spring reverb is deep and spacious, while the tube-driven vibrato remains one of Fender's most celebrated effects.
Loaded with a 12" Jensen C12K speaker, the amp offers exceptional clarity, tight low end, and sparkling highs that pair beautifully with both single coils and humbuckers. Whether you're after pristine cleans, edge-of-breakup tones, or the perfect pedal platform, the Deluxe Reverb continues to set the benchmark.
The cabinet presents well overall, with some light wear to the tolex consistent with its age - including a superficial abrasion to the back left top corner of the cabinet. Cosmetic only, with no impact on structure or function.
A true modern classic, the '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue remains one of the most sought-after amplifiers Fender has ever produced, equally at home on stage, in the studio, or as the centrepiece of a home setup.
