Since its introduction in 1987, the Soldano SLO-100 has stood among the most influential high-gain amplifiers ever built. Mike Soldano's groundbreaking cascading gain design delivered a level of saturation, articulation, and touch sensitivity that helped define modern rock and metal tones while finding favor with players ranging from Mick Mars and Warren DeMartini to Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler. Nearly four decades later, the Soldano SLO pedal brings that same unmistakable character to a compact, pedalboard-friendly format.

Rather than serving as a generic distortion pedal, the SLO is designed as a faithful recreation of the amplifier's legendary Overdrive channel. Its control layout mirrors the flagship amp with Gain, Volume, Presence, and an active three-band EQ, while the side-mounted Deep switch captures the powerful low-end response of the full-sized amplifier. Built around the same cascading gain architecture that made the SLO-100 famous, the pedal delivers everything from harmonically rich crunch to soaring lead tones while retaining the responsiveness and note definition that have long distinguished the Soldano sound.

Whether placed in front of a clean amplifier or stacked with other dirt pedals, the SLO rewards careful adjustment with an exceptionally amp-like feel. The EQ offers ample flexibility without sacrificing the pedal's unmistakable voice, while the gain range extends from muscular classic rock crunch to the saturated, singing lead tones that made the original amplifier an icon. It's equally at home as a primary source of drive or as a compact Soldano-flavored preamp for players seeking authentic high-gain character in a pedalboard-sized package.

This Soldano SLO pedal is gently used and remains in excellent condition, showing only light cosmetic signs of cuse. Everything functions exactly as it should, and the original box is included.
