A nice example of vintage 1-1/4C or 1.25C with a couple of minor damages and mods. Highly desirable vintage with clear engraving and a very comfortable rim. Please read the full description and see all photos for full details.
MODIFICATIONS: wider #24 throat and maybe a very small amount of metal taken out at the very bottom of the cup going into the throat (i.e. a very small “double cup”). Plays a little freer and darker than most 1-1/4Cs.
DAMAGES: there is plating wear (raw brass showing) on the underside of the mouthpiece body and on the shank where it inserts. Shank fit is still good and no plating has been lost on the playing surface.
