Hi. Up for adoption is a vintage Pearl President snare drum throw off. This part was harvested from a phenolic shell snare drum.
I'm listing more parts from my Pearl President kit. The last 2 pix are for context only; you are not getting my kit! LoL Check back often for more parts.
This part is fully functional, HOWEVER...the rivet that held the faceplate to the body and served as the pivot point has been replaced with what looks like a bent piece of wire clothes hanger. It works, but it does look a bit "MacGyver-ish." The small plate that secures the snare cord is gone; I just threaded the cord through the holes and it worked fine.
There are tiny spots of corrosion peppered all over the faceplate front and sides. Expect the usual nicks, scrapes, scratches, dents, metal wear from a vintage part that is almost as old as me!
By the way, all moving parts and adjustments work properly.
