2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition – Pacific Reef Blue (1 of 275 Made / Stunning AAA Flame Top)
Up for sale is an incredibly rare, investment-grade masterpiece: a 2004 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition in the highly coveted, elusive Pacific Reef finish. Gibson only produced 275 of these worldwide, making it a certified crown jewel for collectors and serious players alike. Comes complete with its rare, original factory spec-sheet flyer!
This limited run stands out instantly from standard production models. It features an upscale, elegant bound headstock adorned with a Mother of Pearl Crown inlay on the face. Per the official factory spec sheet, this limited run swaps out the usual rosewood for a premium, jet-black Ebony fingerboard, giving the guitar incredible note definition, snappy transient response, and a glass-smooth playing feel. Underneath that rare Pacific Reef finish sits an absolutely mesmerizing, deep AAA flame maple top that dances beautifully under the light.
This guitar is a gorgeous example from this historic run, sitting in Very Good Condition for its age. It has been well cared for, functions flawlessly, and sounds every bit as massive, articulate, and punchy as an elite mid-2000s Gibson should.
A Certified Rarity: This isn't just an incredible player; it's a piece of Gibson history. Out of only 275 pieces ever built in Pacific Reef, finding one today with a AAA flame top this prominent—complete with the original promotional literature—is an absolute anomaly.

Condition Report
This guitar has been carefully kept and played over its life, showing honest, light cosmetic wear that does nothing to detract from its stunning looks.
Body & Finish: Overall very good condition. The jaw-dropping AAA flame top is incredibly clean. The back of the mahogany body shows some normal light-to-moderate surface swirling/buckle marks from gentle use, along with a few minor dings on the back and near the input jack area.
Neck & Binding: The neck is completely straight and the truss rod adjusts perfectly. There is some light, completely natural finish checking on the neck binding, which is purely cosmetic and very common for Gibson nitro finishes of this era.
Frets: The frets still have plenty of life left. For full transparency, there is one single, microscopic fret divot on the 1st fret under the B-string; it is so incredibly small that it won't even register on a camera lens and does not affect playability whatsoever.
Electronics: 100% original, unmolested, and fully operational.
