Loud, warm, crunch and punch, later breakup. It is STOUT like an EV12 but with more movement and less stuffiness.
Think of this as a high-powered 12F150 or Jensen C12N with a warmer top end.
Great blackface tone for Twin Reverbs, etc, where more clean headroom is desired, but still with the ability to sound warm with overdrive/distortion.
