Offering this light, balanced, extremely easy-playing PRS McCarty Core Gold Top from 1997. Given its 29 year age, the gold has mellowed to a really nice softer champagne color. And the hardware and pickup rings show genuine aging.
Condition notes: The good ones get played, and this one has, too! Lots of nicks and dings on the bottom edge binding, as well as a few (pictured) on the back of the neck. I feel them when I look for them and move my hand on the neck, but while playing I honestly don't feel them (but YMMV). Near the bass side 15th fret, there's topcoat wear (also pictured).
A great weight of 7 lbs, 5 oz, with plenty of fret life (see pics). The original McCarty humbuckers are dynamic and alive, and the push/pull controls to tap the coils make this model super versatile (strat tones, easily).
As usual with PRS Core models, it's a workhorse pro-level guitar and one someone's going to really enjoy.
