THERE’S NO COMPARISON! This is the most beautiful, collector quality, 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom 35th Anniversary Black Beauty on Reverb.  Maybe the most beautiful LP Custom available.  Also, lowest serial number 35th Anniversary as of 7/12.  This guitar is rare to find in this excellent condition. The frets have ZERO wear and it looks as if it has never been played. I hate to sell it but, it should be played by someone or put on display. New LP Customs are $10,000 made to look and sound vintage. This IS vintage and investment grade. The late 80’s were a renaissance period for Gibson with a return to high quality and vintage specs. This guitar defined the comeback.

It is high-gloss black and only a few, very faint, clear coat scratches under light and a 0.5mm chip on the back last picture (measured with a loop). No scratches through the paint or chips on the binding, sides, front, back, neck.  Original PAFs and hardware look amazing.  A small aging clear coat chip on the headstock inlay next to the B tuning peg (see pic). Original CTS pots and date codes check out for 1989.

Unlikely to see another one in this condition. No breaks or repairs under black-light inspection. Comes with OHSC Made in Canada by TKL.  No COA.  Purchased from Lovie’s in 2020.  Check my reviews.  I always want to be fair and make people happy with ZERO buyer’s remorse.  It is a lot of money. I get it.  When you open the case, you’ll see you get exactly what you wanted (or more) with my guitars.
