Toppobrillo Stereomix Rev2.1 (mkii) latest

Limited Run in Black

  • This is not just a mixer. It is a voltage-controlled stereo command center that replaces a pile of VCAs, panners, send utilities, cue routing, and monitor hacks.
  • 0–8V CV control on the serious stuff. AUX CV, LEVEL CV, and PAN CV each use a verified 0–8V control range, summed with the front-panel controls.
  • LEVEL is not alone. Most small mixers give you a fader and stop. This gives you CV over loudness, stereo position, and effects send per channel.
  • PAN is constant-power. Smooth stereo movement without the center falling apart; ModularGrid lists a -3dB compensated constant-power pan law.
  • AUX SEND is pre/post switchable per channel. Send can follow the fader or ignore it. That means dub throws, FX tails, muted-channel sends, and cleaner live transitions.
  • Cue system is built in. Muted channels route pop-free to CUE MIX for headphone preview or a second utility/effects path.
  • MUTE / CUE / SOLO is performance logic, not decoration. LED tactile switches handle muting and soloing, with long-press solo behavior listed for selected channels.
  • Stereo AUX return is not weak. Left/mono normalled to right, return level control, up to +12dB gain for line-level or quieter return sources.
  • Main outputs are real end-of-chain outs. Stereo mix exits post-master fader, unbalanced, up to 20Vp-p.
  • VU meters give actual gain info. Log-scale master metering, yellow around +12dBu, red before clipping around 18dBu.
  • Rev2 design tightened the guts. Listed improvements include 4-layer PCB, cleaner signal path, better gain staging, lower noise, less distortion, and better channel-to-channel isolation.
  • More gain where it matters. Listed gain increases: about +12dB aux returns, +6dB/channel main outs, +3dB aux send, plus louder headphone output.
  • Headphone / TRS monitor output is useful, not token. Monitor can select Cue Mix or Main Mix, with separate monitor level.
  • Rear chaining matters. Stereomix Rev2 is listed as chainable through rear headers, with input bus and master outs accessible. That keeps expansion clean instead of burning front-panel patch spaghetti.
  • Plain caveman version: four voices go in; level, pan, send, mute, solo, cue, return, master, meter, headphones all live in one 24HP block.
  • Why it beats normal compact mixers: typical small Eurorack mixers save space by deleting control. Stereomix saves space while keeping voltage control, send routing, cue logic, stereo return, monitoring, and metering.
  • Best use: live Eurorack set, compact performance case, animated stereo mix, dub-style effects send riding, cue-based transitions, final mixer before output module/interface.
