Up for sale is a Revv G50 made in July 2025 in Electric Blue Python. It is in excellent condition with no issues and has seen very little use. I bought thinking I would try something more modern but I always end up using one of my vintage amps. Comes in original box with Certificate of authenticity. There is a video of me using the amp that I have included in the listing.

Equipped with a trio of Revv’s most sought-after channels, the Generator G50 represents the epitome of the company’s thoroughly modern approach to the art of tube amplification. This 50-watt, 3-channel amplifier comes equipped with a “greatest hits” of Revv’s most artist-requested channels, including the full-bodied cleans of the Blue channel, the medium-gain crunch of the Green channel, and the all-out mayhem of the high-gain Purple channel. Each channel sports a dedicated arrangement of tone-shaping tools, in addition to dual Master Volume controls and global Presence/Depth knobs. If Revv were to stop here, the G50 would assuredly still be a rock-solid choice for modern metal and hard-rock devotes. However, in classic Revv fashion, this amp’s utility features are almost too numerous to mention, including 10-/50-watt power scaling, onboard reverb, a built-in noise gate, a transparent buffered serial FX loop, MIDI functionality, XLR outs, Bluetooth, and much more. An integrated Two Notes Torpedo system sends it all over the edge, resulting in a superb 50-watt addition to the Revv family that captures the brand’s most iconic sounds in a mid-sized, gig-friendly form factor.

Although the Generator G50 boasts a nearly endless assortment of bells and whistles, the sonic core of this amp lies in its trio of classic Revv channels powered by dual EL34s and a 12AX7 preamp section. To shape your sound, each channel sports a dedicated Bright switch along with a global Presence, a global Depth, and two Master Volume knobs.

Blue channel: Revv’s spotless tonal reputation among Sweetwater’s guitarists primarily lies in modern metal and hard-rock, but even the heaviest amps require a captivating clean sound to complement their more aggressive options. The G50’s Blue channel more than fulfills that role with a rich, full-range clean tone that ventures into a pleasing mild breakup when pushed to its limits. This channel sports a 3-band EQ (shared with the Green channel) and a Wide switch to fine-tune your tone.

Green channel: Fans of high-octane crunch, this channel’s for you. The Green channel’s dirty, dynamic, and utterly expressive medium-gain crunch covers everything from Nashville leads to classic rock bite. Along with a shared 3-band EQ with the Blue channel, the Green channel comes equipped with a trio of distinctive Drive voicings that sculpt the structure of your gain.

Purple channel: Finally, arguably the star of the show, the G50’s high-gain purple channel epitomizes the aggressive sounds of modern metal, shred, and hard-rock. In addition to a dedicated 3-band EQ, this channel features a Cut switch to sharpen your sound and a Fat switch to bolster your signal’s bottom end. Furthermore, the Purple channel also brandishes three unique “Aggression” voicings to tackle everything from guttural djent brutality to ultra-tight modern-metal riffage to less extreme, liquid-like lead tone.

A truly all-encompassing amplifier head, the Generator G50 holds more than a few tonal tricks underneath its compact birch enclosure! Players seeking to add a touch of space to their tone will undoubtedly appreciate the G50’s onboard digital Reverb section, paired with an immaculate-sounding onboard Noise Gate to keep your signal clean no matter how much dirt you’re dishing out. Moreover, both the Reverb and Noise Gate sections are fully bypassable — a feat easily accomplished when utilizing the included 4-button programmable footswitch. And if you prefer to let your favorite pedals cover your reverb, modulation, and other time-based stompbox duties, the G50 also offers a transparent buffered serial FX loop.

Embedded Two Notes Torpedo tech for stereo, cab-free cacophony

With just the Revv Generator G50 and a PA, you have everything you need to obtain a larger-than-life miked-cab tone, thanks to embedded Two Notes Torpedo technology and the amp head’s stereo XLR outputs. Select between six customizable virtual cabinets via the amp’s front panel; if that’s not enough, you can access up to 128 via MIDI. You can use the Generator G50’s EL34-loaded power amp or bypass it and change the amp’s character with a simulated power section. KT66s? 6V6s? EL84s? EL34s? The options are endless. You also get the Two Notes Twin Tracker stereo doubler, an equalizer, an enhancer, and more — all editable via Bluetooth. Best of all, the Generator G50 is a complete standalone solution: a reactive load automatically engages when a speaker isn’t present, safeguarding your amp. Whether you go direct to FOH, an audio interface, or headphones, the Generator G50 delivers awesome tone with killer effects — in stereo!
