This unit is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, especially considering its age. It remains completely factory stock with no modifications, repairs, or dust buildup, operating exactly as intended.

I bought this directly from a professional recording studio where it was stored as a designated backup unit. It has seen minimal use since and has been exceptionally well taken care of throughout its lifespan. I am only selling due to financial considerations to help cover other pressing studio costs.

Designed in collaboration with Mercenary Audio, the 1968 ME is legendary for its punchy J-FET variable-mu configuration paired with a rich tube output stage. The "Big" switch on the sidechain is its secret weapon, keeping your low-end intact while the compressor beautifully glues the mix together.

• Functionality: The unit is 100% operational and performs exactly as it should.

NOTE: There are a few minor hairline scratches on the top cover from normal rack installation and removal (rack rash). I've made a point of photographing them (see photos). They appear more pronounced in the pictures than they do in person and are barely noticeable unless you are actively looking for them.
