**About Ken Yokoyama**

In 1991, **Ken Yokoyama** co-founded the legendary Japanese punk band **Hi-STANDARD**. Their third album, **MAKING THE ROAD**, achieved the remarkable milestone of selling over one million copies despite being released independently—an unprecedented accomplishment at the time—and became one of the most influential records in the history of Japanese punk rock.

In 2004, Ken launched his own band, **Ken Yokoyama**, releasing more than seven albums and successfully performing at the prestigious **Nippon Budokan>, further cementing his reputation as one of Japan's leading rock guitarists.

In 2015, Gretsch introduced **Kenny Falcon**, the very first signature Gretsch model for an Asian artist. It was followed by the **Kenny Falcon Jr.** and **Kenny Wild Penguin**, all of which continue to enjoy tremendous popularity among players thanks to their distinctive appearance and carefully selected specifications.

---

When the Kenny Falcon series debuted in 2015, it immediately became one of the hottest topics in the guitar world. Among the lineup, this model remains one of the most iconic. We still remember how exciting it was to see it for the very first time.

The original full-size **G6136 Kenny Falcon** featured a vivid Cadillac Green finish and attracted tremendous attention as the first Gretsch signature model created for a Japanese artist.

This **Kenny Falcon Jr.** was inspired by Ken Yokoyama's own guitar, affectionately known as **"Sky."**

Compared to the standard 17-inch Falcon, the Falcon Jr. features a more compact body that is significantly easier and more comfortable to hold while retaining the unmistakable Falcon character.

Instead of the darker green used on the original model, this guitar wears **Early Summer Green**, Ken's lucky color. The finish perfectly balances vintage elegance with classic Gretsch brilliance, giving it a fresh appearance while still honoring the brand's rich heritage.

From the sparkling finish to the vertical Gretsch logo and feather inlays, every detail gives this guitar an unmistakably bold stage presence. It's the kind of guitar that begs to be worn low on a long strap and played with attitude.

---

The guitar features **1959-style Trestle Bracing**, one of the specifications most appreciated by Gretsch enthusiasts.

It also comes equipped with an **Anti-Dull Circuit** on the master volume control, preserving high frequencies when rolling back the volume—a practical feature that working musicians will especially appreciate.

Whether you're playing clean or pushing it through a heavily overdriven amp for rock or punk, this guitar delivers exactly the aggressive yet articulate Gretsch tone that made the Kenny models so beloved.

### Condition

This guitar remains in **collector-grade condition** with only minimal signs of use.

The frets and nut show virtually no wear, making it an excellent instrument that is ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Although it has been approximately ten years since its original release, the metal hardware remains remarkably clean and beautifully preserved. Even simply admiring this guitar is enough to appreciate its exceptional craftsmanship and presence.

Opportunities to own a Kenny Falcon Jr. are becoming increasingly rare. If you've been searching for one, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.
