The Fame 747 is a vintage acoustic-electric student guitar from the 1970s, produced in Japan. Designed in collaboration with legendary guitarist Chet Atkins for the F.A.M.E. (Famous American Musicians & Educators) program, these guitars feature a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and a distinct soundhole ("toaster") pickup.
