Beautiful Vintage 1970’s Astatic D-104 “Silver Eagle” Lollipop Microphone-Hot Amplified Crystal !

Beautiful USA made 1970’s Astatic model D104 Silver Eagle “lollipop” style HiZ crystal microphone with T-UG9 amplified stand. Professionally inspected, cleaned and tested, this mic sounds great!

This rare Silver Eagle was produced in 1976 to commemorate the USA Bi-Centennial. These models were the top of the line for the Astatic mics of the era and this one is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. The Astatic “power” crystal element has been tested and is providing strong output. The T-UG9 transistorized amplifier has a brand new 9 volt battery installed and is loud and strong. There is a volume control in the base and  it is working as it should. The “smile” push to talk bar on the base and the “pull to talk” bar on the mast also work as they should.  There ate some minor imperfections the finish as seen in the photos. 

The microphone has a 6 foot attached coiled cable with a 1/4”plug. The 6 wire lead cable allows the plug to be converted to virtually any other audio or CB ham radio type plug. The mic can very easily be used for audio recording as well, the standard 1/4” TS plug is ready to plug in to the HiZ/Instrument input on most any modern amp, mixer or audio interface. The mic can also be be changed from the on/off “pull to talk” to “always on” by sliding up the ring on the stem.

This is a great working and fantastic looking microphone with classic vintage retro styling!
