1974 was the 20th anniversary of the Les Paul Custom which debuted a couple years after the Les Paul standard model in 1954. To commemorate the occasion, Customs from 74 bear a "20th anniversary" 12th fret inlay on the ebony fingerboard. This small detail has become even more mythical thanks to its association with the White Les Paul Custom used by Randy Rhoads throughout his brief but legendary career. This is without a doubt the cleanest and most intricately figured flame maple top we've seen on one of these anniversary Les Paul Customs. The dark sunburst finish contrasts beautifully with the ebony board and gold hardware, making this a unique and stunning guitar. It's original T top pickups deliver a tone to match. A perfect Les Paul for any collection!
