The Ibanez AZ24S2 is a modern, versatile and highly playable HSH guitar built around the signature AZ design philosophy. It delivers a fast, stable roasted maple neck, powerful Modern Custom pickups and the expanded flexibility of the dyna-MIX10 switching system, making it a strong choice for players who need a wide tonal range in a comfortable, stage-ready instrument.

The alder body provides a bright, balanced tonal foundation with strong resonance and sustain. The roasted maple neck is heat-treated for stability, durability and resistance to temperature changes, while the jatoba fingerboard adds a rich midrange and crisp high end. The AZ oval C profile offers a comfortable, familiar feel, and the 24 jumbo stainless steel frets provide excellent durability, smooth bending and clear note articulation.

The AZ24S2 features Ibanez Modern Custom humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, both passive with alnico magnets, delivering a powerful, responsive tone that pairs well with overdrive and distortion. The dyna-MIX10 switching system, combined with the Alter Switch, unlocks ten distinct pickup combinations, including realistic single-coil voices through Power Tap mode. This gives the guitar exceptional versatility, from full humbucker drive to bright, articulate cleans.

The T106 tremolo bridge features six independent saddles for precise height and intonation adjustment, while the locking machine heads ensure stable, accurate tuning. The Super All Access Neck Joint provides excellent upper fret reach, making the guitar feel fluid and inviting across the entire range.

The AZ24S2 is a flexible, expressive and reliable instrument designed for players who want modern performance, tonal range and the unmistakable AZ feel.
