Description:
Up for sale is a beautiful piece of Brazilian guitar history: a November 1973 Giannini Model No. 6 (3/4 size) classical acoustic guitar, handcrafted in São Paulo, Brazil. This instrument features a highly distinct, light-colored vintage Brazilian Rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) back and sides with a striking, exotic grain pattern. It features the rare, early-70s white domestic label with blue writing and a decorative green border, stamped with production/batch code 11/1730.The Good:

  • Straight Neck: The neck is remarkably straight with no history of structural fractures, breaks, or professional neck repairs.
  • Ready to Play: Freshly re-strung by a guitar tech. The traditional slotted headstock tuners turn properly.
  • Compact Size: The 3/4 scale body makes it an incredibly comfortable parlor-sized couch guitar or travel companion.

The Vintage Condition (Please Read Before Bidding):

  • This is a 50+ year-old "Player’s Grade" vintage instrument showing plenty of honest cosmetic character.
  • There are notable scuffs on the front fascia, along with scratches and finish wear flaking around the perimeter edges.
  • Important Note: A previous owner ran a vintage repair screw right down the center of the wooden bridge. The bridge is currently stable and holding string tension, but it is a non-factory modification.

Selling as-is. This is a fantastic, rare project piece for a collector or a wonderful player for anyone who loves the unique resonance of vintage Brazilian tonewoods. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
