1980s Gallien-Krueger 800RB Bass Amp Head – 300W/100W Bi-Amp – Vintage GK

The Gallien-Krueger 800RB is one of the most iconic bass amplifier heads ever produced, and the 1980s-era versions are particularly sought after by players and collectors looking for the original 800RB design and character.

Known for its incredibly fast response, tight low end, aggressive punch, and exceptional note definition, the 800RB helped establish the sound of modern electric bass through the 1980s and beyond. Its distinctive Bi-Amp architecture delivers 300 watts to the low-frequency section and 100 watts to the high-frequency section, giving players independent control over the balance between powerful lows and articulate highs.

The original 800RB has a character that is difficult to replicate. Its quick attack and dynamic response make it equally at home with vintage rock tones, slap playing, funk, and aggressive modern bass.
