ESP Traditional MIJ Strat-Style Electric Guitar - Candy Apple Red - Japan - Fair Condition

Up for sale is a ESP Traditional Strat-style electric guitar finished in its original Candy Apple Red. This is one of the desirable late-1980s/early-1990s ESP Traditional models, featuring an alder-style Strat body, bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style tremolo, and three original single-coil pickups. These guitars are known for their excellent Japanese craftsmanship and are becoming increasingly collectible.

This guitar is low output functional electronically—the pickups, controls, and selector switch all operate correctly. It is, however, being sold in fair cosmetic condition due to heavy wear accumulated over decades of use.

The finish has extensive scratches, scuffs, oxidation, and grime throughout. The good news is that the original Candy Apple Red finish is still present underneath and much of the surface grime can likely be cleaned to dramatically improve its appearance without affecting the vintage finish.

Please note the following:

• One tuning machine is broken and will require replacement.
• The high E string is missing.
• The hardware shows significant oxidation and tarnish.
• Pickguard, bridge, neck plate, and plastics all exhibit heavy cosmetic wear.
• The guitar remains structurally intact and the electronics function properly.
