This guitar is in excellent condition. This was part of a large collection and rarely if ever played. There are no nicks, chips, or scratches. Frets are in excellent condition. Two of the tuners,D string and high E string are missing the white plastic bushing. The tuners work fine without it but not as smooth.

The AS83 is an Artcore series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2003.

The AS83 features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated flamed maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides mated to a set-in mahogany and maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and abalone block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups with chrome covers and individual volume and tone controls, ivory plastic pickup rings and nut, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change tailpiece, speed knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with half-moon buttons. Ibanez branded hard shell case included.
