This is an early 1969. No Nolan Era garbage. Still using the same construction specs they did in the earlier years like one piece mohagony neck, not 3 piece maple, eww. And no Valute, which I also don’t like. So it’s closer to a 1960 than a 1971 in my mind. It has tar back pickups which are vintage and they sound totally PAF awesome. And it had a refinish in the 80s the old owner told me, so it has patina and little finish cracks everywhere. It’s pretty light, I would guess it’s 7.5 lbs or so? frets are still totally playable but low, so if you’re a daily player you will prolly need a refret in a couple of years. Outside of that the thing plays awesome! It’s looks cooler than fk and has mofo days. I got all these glass car cases, my living room and when people come over, it is always their favorite. It’s sounds like a big vintage beast from chugging Metallica to jazz it can just do it all and I love the vintage semi chicks neck. Neck is bigger than a 1960 this Les Paul, but not as big as a 1958? someone is gonna love this thing.
