Our users rate Reverb
The BK Butler Tube Driver is a legendary, hand-made guitar overdrive and distortion pedal that utilizes a real 12AX7 vacuum tube running at low voltage to deliver unique, amp-like saturation. Created by designer Brent K. Butler in the late 1970s, it famously shaped the signature tones of elite guitarists like David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, and Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top).
- Genuine Tube Circuitry: Uses an op-amp stage to create the initial overdrive, which is then shaped and filtered through a hand-selected 12AX7 preamp tube.
- Control Layout: Features four standard knobs—Level, Hi, Lo, and Drive.
This pedal is in perfect working order and sounds GREAT! This is a mid-90's version. It does have velcro on the bottom and is ready to rock on your pedal board!
