The "Piggyback" configuration refers to the separate head and speaker cabinet design, where the amplifier head sits on top of the speaker cabinet, hence the term "piggyback." This design allowed for easier transportation and also provided flexibility in speaker cabinet options.

CONDITION: This set is absolutely Beautiful, Set Includes the original Covers. The capacitors have been replaced inside the doghouse. The original transformers date to 1966 and the original 1966 Fender branded Utah speakers are clean as can be. There is one tear in the speaker cabinet grill cloth.
SHIPPING: This would need to be shipped in 2 boxes, Head packaged weight is 40 lbs, Cabinet packaged weight is 69lbs. If shipping costs are less, I'll be happy to refund that difference. I would also prefer to keep this as a set these have been together for so long.
