2000 Epiphone Les Paul Standard, made in Japan at the world-famous Fugi-Gen factory. This is a great-looking and great-sounding guitar. It has the long neck tendon for extra sustain, a '59 neck profile (medium C), and Dunlop strap locks. The electronics have been upgraded to Gibson 57 Classic and Gibson 57 Classic Plus pickups in the neck and bridge positions. The wiring has also been upgraded to a vintage 50s-style setup with treble-bleed capacitors and brand-new pots. The guitar has received a full refret, Tusq XL nut, and a professional setup, and the intonation has been set, so it's ready to play as soon as you receive it.
The guitar is well balanced and comes with a hard-shell SKB case and strap locks. The finish is in excellent condition and has been a case queen its entire life. Time to start thinning the herd, hence putting this up on Reverb. You could get one of the new "Inspired by Gibson" guitars, but then you'd still have to go through the trouble of upgrading and refining. With the recent history of poor quality control in guitars made in China, this guitar has the high-quality Japanese quality control behind it. This guitar has had all the upgrades already done for you and is ready to be enjoyed.
