This is an early first year Jiva, when the bodies were mahogany. Later that year they switched to nyatoh, which is cheaper and lighter, but not the tonal quality of mahogany.

I can guarantee you that you will not find a better playing guitar in your life. I have an Alexi Laiho ESP from its first year, and that guitar held the spot prior too these Jivas, of which I have 3, so this one is going.

It is in new condition with the original gig bag, the matching serial number manual and quality control hangtag from April of 2019, before the switch later in the year to nyatoh. If you missed this guitar back then, this is your chance to get one from what is the absolute first run.

The JIVA10 is built on the Ibanez S-series chassis but with Nita's personal touches throughout — the asymmetric Nitro Wizard JIVA neck profile, the "Beaten Path" EKG-style luminescent inlays on bound ebony, and her signature DiMarzio Pandemonium pickup set (a hot ceramic humbucker pair described as a cross between a D-Activator and an Evolution) flanking a DiMarzio True Velvet single-coil for full HSH versatility. Equally at home in modern metal, classic rock, and clean ambient work.

This guitar is Nita Strauss's first signature model and the first Ibanez signature ever built for a female artist. They are made in Indonesia at the Cort facility, as are all Ibanez guitars now.
