This shop-ordered FSR model is finished in Mystic Aztec Gold and features a matching headstock, alder body, maple neck with block inlays and binding, and a rosewood fingerboard.

The combination of gold, chrome, and vintage white is especially striking, giving this Jaguar a unique and very special presence.

[Shop Description]

The base model is the highly popular vintage-style Traditional 60s Jaguar, featuring a matching headstock style with the custom color “Mystic Aztec Gold” applied to the body and headstock top.

In addition, the neck features block inlays and binding, giving it an even more luxurious appearance.

Since the specifications were designed with the so-called transitional period of late 1966 in mind, it comes equipped with F-Key tuners.

This model was ordered based on the concept of: “What if a vintage Jaguar were lightly modified and refinished?”

In terms of playability and sound, the frets were changed to Narrow Tall, and the body wood was changed from basswood to alder.

Narrow Tall frets have more height, offering the advantage of allowing the strings to be pressed down with less effort.

Depending on your playing style, we selected this as an essential feature for playing stretched chords on a short-scale Jaguar.

The combination of the strong midrange character of alder, the vintage-style single-coil pickups also found on the base model, and the aluminum anodized pickguard helps reduce noise and results in a sound with excellent tonal balance.
