―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Although the NS model originally started with a single-pickup configuration, the two-pickup NS-2 was launched in 1979. Packed with innovative ideas that are indispensable to the history of the electric bass, it remains a model that continues to enjoy a loyal following today.

Its distinctive features—including an ergonomically designed compact curved body, a through-neck construction, a reverse P-mount, and active circuitry—represented innovations that broke the mold of the time in both appearance and sound.

Although the manufacturer went through a period of instability due to acquisitions, a small team of skilled craftsmen in New York continues to produce instruments of exceptional quality to this day.

This is an authentic NS-2, made in the USA in 2012.

It features what could be called the classic configuration: a maple through-neck and a solid-wood wing body.

Characterized by a robust yet clear sound, it delivers the timeless, unmistakable NS-2 tone. In recent years, due to considerations regarding wood availability and pricing, many models have switched to laminated bodies.

Although this is a used instrument, it has been well-maintained and remains in excellent condition considering its age. While there are some minor scratches and slight discoloration on parts, there are no dents or scratches that significantly detract from its appearance. Fret wear is minimal, and there is plenty of adjustment left on the truss rod, ensuring it will serve you for many years to come.

Comes with the original hard case.
