This is a custom built set of speakers made from real solid oak wood. The builder of these was an expert wood worker, and this can be seen in the detail. The hefty cabinets are seemless , with rounded corners, and a beautiful clear finish that lets the warm wood shine. Each of these weighs about 40 lbs. No grills are included, but why would you want to cover these with grills anyway ? These are vintage. I do not know the year of manufacture .. but I would estimate some time in the 90's. They are cosmetically pristine,.. without scratches or dents. Some of the screws have a pleasant vintage oxidization patina that lend these authenticity and vintage appeal.

These are better than factory made Focal speakers for this reason.... Real wood is exponentially better sounding than the MDF wood with veneer that speaker companies like Focal use. It is more rigid, with better acoustic resonance qualities. But consumer speaker companies do not use real wood because it is price prohibitive. Also, real wood looks much nicer.
These speakers utilize French made audiophile Focal drivers, with the Focal 6" Kevlar woofer and the famous Focal 1" aluminum-magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeters. Focal crossovers were also used. Woofer foams are excellent
These sound amazing, with even sound recreation across the spectrum. The bass is nice and big from the ported cabinets. Typical of Focal, these will need at least 50 watts to sound their best. They have rear terminals. Cabinets and drivers are in excellent condition.

These sound warm and engaging, with superb presence and clear detail, while minimizing listener fatigue. They look as beautiful as they sound. Comparable to the Focal Aria model,... but significantly less expensive.
