1973 Guild F-50R Natural, in well loved vintage condition - some vibey play wear on this one. This is the less often seen Rosewood back and sides model

Guild F-50R Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1973), made in Westerly, RI, natural lacquer finish, Rosewood back and sides, spruce top; laminated mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, original black tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 42 1/2 in. (108 cm.), 17 1/8 in. (43.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 15/16 in. (12.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

The finish on the body of this venerable Guild is fairly clean with some average wear overall-scratches, checking and minor pickwear. There is worn finish on the neck from many hours of play.

Structurally the guitar has had a number of repairs, including a neck set which appears to have resulted in a very cleanly repaired crack at the bottom of the heel and a small cleat to the soundhole edge just under the bass side of the fingerboard. There is also two long repaired cracks to the back, and several deep scratches. The upper side shows some very cleanly repaired cracks with a number of internal cleats-the guitar looks to have taken a well-repeired hit to the bass side long ago. The celluloid tailblock strip has shrunk up a bit but it is still intact, and there is an old mini-jack installation just above the endpin. This is a good player even with the repair work, with a deeper warmer sound than the more common maple version. Overall Very Good Condition.
