This is a 1979 Les Paul Standard from the era when Les Paul Standard guitars were revived in the regular lineup in late 1975, featuring a 3-piece maple top, 1-piece mahogany back, and a 3-piece maple neck.

This 70's Standard, with its two humbuckers, was a late 70's model that returned to the regular lineup in late 1975. Equipped with stamped numbered PAF pickups, the tone produced by its substantial body is sweet and thick when played clean, and when distorted, it delivers a fat, sustained, powerful, and impactful Les Paul sound.

While there are some scratches, paint chips, and a slight dent on the jack plate due to age, there is no significant damage, and it is in good condition. The toggle switch knob and tuners have been replaced with Grover parts. The neck condition is good, with plenty of truss rod adjustment remaining. It has been refretted and re-nutted after arriving at our shop, and is in excellent playability. An original hardshell case is included.
