This is a 2005 Jerry Jones "Baby Sitar", never used and in perfect condition. This item plays like a guitar and sounds like a sitar. Jerry Jones was a great builder in Nashville, TN and built these much nicer than the Danelectro Asian copies.
These instruments have a "fixed" bridge, meaning when designed and built, the bridge is in the most optimum spot and there are no saddles that adjust!!! That's how Jerry Jones and earlier, Coral...built the item and if the bridge is set correctly, they are great. The bridge is adjustable up and down only, to get the optimum "sitar" buzzing sound. THIS ONE IS SET UP AS IT SHOULD BE! Research what you are buying and don't think it does anything else.

This item sounds great and plays like a guitar. This item has a black crackle finish and one lipstick pickup. The Sitar weighs about 6lbs.
