The JHS Pedals Double Dragon Lo-Fi Octave Down & Up Analogue Pedal gives you the characteristic lo-fi behaviour of vintage octave circuits.

This analogue monophonic octave down and up effect gives a tone twice the size of your guitar. The lower octave is the foundation, delivering a thick analogue tone to give you the characteristic lo-fi behaviour that made vintage octave circuits legendary. Built on the shoulders of 40-50 year old octave divider technology, if you play a chord and the circuit starts to stutter, jump and fight. The upper octave gives an octave up distortion that lands somewhere between an Octavia and a Superfuzz with a mid range sting that cuts through the mix. Silent buffered bypass switching ensures a clean signal and no unwanted noise.

• VOLUME controls the master output level with extra boost available. Turn the octaves off, dry full on, and you have an amazing always on preamp.

• DRY mixes in your clean signal to the octave effects, all the way up is where we suggest you start, all the way down goes fully wet for glitchy vintage synth textures.

• OCT controls the lower sub-octave mix.

• OCT plus controls the upper octave and distortion (activated by right footswitch).

• Left footswitch is ON/OFF. Right footswitch engages OCT plus circuit.

Please note, the main effect must be on for OCT plus to function, for octave up only, engage and turn OCT down. This pedal requires 9 V DC negative centre power and consumes 75 mA. Do not use more than 9 V DC, or you will void the warranty.
