As far as I (and the eye) can tell, this guitar has no cosmetic imperfections. I received it as a gift and ended up not wanting it because it was too small of a body for my personal preference. Acoustically, this guitar is not huge sound, but it is a beautiful bright sound. Perfect for blues/bluegrass/country musicians especially - but anyone can and should play it. Its Sitka spruce top and concert body shape provide clear highs and a focused mid-range, making it great as a lead guitar or for fingerpicking. Has input.
