Gibson Custom Dealer Select J-45 Original Sinker Vintage Sunburst w/case 20776062

Serial: 20776062

This Gibson Custom Dealer Select J-45 50s Original stays true to the legendary “Workhorse” formula while elevating it with sinker mahogany back and sides for a deeper, more complex acoustic response. Inspired by 1950s-era J-45s, this model blends warm fundamentals, dry vintage character, and the unmistakable round-shoulder Gibson voice that has anchored countless recordings.

Sinker mahogany—reclaimed and naturally aged for decades—adds enhanced resonance, quicker note bloom, and a richer low-mid presence compared to standard mahogany. Paired with a Sitka spruce top, traditional hand-scalloped bracing, and classic 50s appointments, this Dealer Select offers a familiar feel with a noticeably more dimensional and refined tonal palette.
