Made in Fullerton, California, in 1966, this Fender Blackface Pro Reverb stands in excellent condition for an amplifier crafted over 60 years ago. Renowned for its extraordinarily lush, deep spring reverb and hypnotically perfect vibrato, this particular unit stands as a true sonic masterpiece that easily outperforms expectations with glass-like cleans and a remarkably smooth, touch-sensitive overdrive. The amplifier has been fully evaluated and serviced by the legendary technicians at Davidson Electronics to ensure peerless performance and reliability. It retains all of its major factory-original parts including the steel chassis, power transformer, reverb transformer, and its rare, factory-matched 2x12" Utah Special Design speakers. The amp's performance is optimized by a matched pair of Groove Tubes GT6L6s power tubes and a Sovtek GZ34 rectifier tube for perfect compression and stability. The only change from its original 1966 factory assembly is a necessary safety upgrade from the original two-prong cord to a modern, grounded 3-prong cable.
