Up for sale is this vintage 1965 Harmony H-19 Silhouette electric guitar. When it comes to "bang for your buck" in the vintage world these days, these Harmony's (when you can find examples that have held up and set up correctly) are the tops, especially the H-19, complete with tremolo and a pair of DeArmond gold foil pickups...

This one is all original and in very nice condition for its age. The original gold foil DeArmond pickups work perfectly and sound great. The original hardware is complete, right down to the usually missing tremolo arm, and is in very nice condition showing only minor wear and pitting. The original redburst finish has aged out great, showing some beautiful checking. There are numerous small scuffs, dings, and scratches as one would expect from an instrument of this age as well as a few "permanent marker" touch up areas which we have tried to capture in the photos. The original pickguard is in above-average condition, showing no cracks and only some minor shrinkage. The original truss rod cover is cracked and is missing a small piece (pictured)

Our tech just went over this one by cleaning it up, polishing the frets, oiling the fretboard, spraying out the electronics, installing a fresh set of strings, and performing a set up. The guitar plays very nicely with comfortable, low action all the way up the neck. As is typical on these instruments, there's some uneven fretwork here and there which leads to some light fret buzz in a few places but nothing frets or chokes out. It's a very, very good playing example of the model that should make someone very, very happy.

Unfortunately, the original case is missing. A used, loose fitting, inexpensive acoustic gig bag (as pictured) is included and the instrument will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.
