EVH Star Limited Edition T.O.M. Silverburst With Deluxe Hardcase

We purchased this guitar brand new in a sealed box to demo because it’s a Limited Edition model with all of the features that we we’re looking for.  When it arrived, it wasn’t playing or sounding the way it should; even though the overall build quality is exceptional, the action was ridiculously high, and the guitar wasn’t properly intonated.  There’s a few reasons why this happens, such as the difference in environmental conditions from the time it was manufactured, and also because EVH doesn’t have the time to do a full setup like we do, because labor is one of the most expensive parts of manufacturing a new guitar.

So to get a guitar that both plays and sounds the best it possibly can, it just comes down to taking the time to properly setup the guitar, which is what we’ve done.  After letting this guitar acclimate for a week, we performed a complete setup including a new set of D’Addario EXL-110 (10-46) strings.  The entire process takes a few hours and now the action is as low as possible with no fret buzz, which makes this guitar very easy to play.  Now that this guitar is properly intonated and setup, it plays and sounds amazing, and is a really sweet guitar.  This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with all of the original accessories, strings, and a new Gator GW-EXP Deluxe Wood Case

This guitar will be fully insured and shipped using Reverb Safe Shipping, and unfortunately due to rising fuel costs, shipping costs have increased significantly.  If you’re an international buyer interested In this guitar please message us for a shipping quote.
