Fender Princeton Reverb 1967
Straight out of Fenders blackface era, this '67 Princeton Reverb is all chime. The tonal qualities of this amp are forged through Leo Fenders crusade to reduce harsh midrange frequencies, and all but eliminate tube break up. As a result, this amp has a beautiful clean tone with tight lows and sparkly highs. Being produced about the time Fender was sold to CBS, this is likely one of the last Princeton Reverbs before the beginning of the silverface era.
This amp is in immaculate shape for its age. It has been professionally re-capped, and has had the reverb tank swapped for a Mojotone Mod tank. The footswitch is not original, and the two prong power cord has been swapped for a three prong.
This amplifier just oozes old school vibe, and is truly a testament to Fender craftsmanship.
