Up for sale is a vintage Tokai TST-56 “Vintage Series” Strat-style electric guitar, made in Japan during Tokai’s highly regarded early 1980s era.

If you know Tokai guitars, you know these MIJ models have earned a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, vintage Fender-style feel, and incredible value compared to many modern production guitars. This one has all the vibe you’d want from a well-played vintage Strat-style instrument.

Finished in a beautiful Candy Apple Red with a naturally aged maple neck and fretboard, this guitar has authentic player wear throughout that gives it a fantastic vintage character. The fretboard patina and finish wear show years of honest use and look absolutely killer in person.

This guitar was owned by my father, a longtime musician, music professor, and guitar teacher, and remained part of his personal collection for roughly 40 years. It shows the kind of honest wear and character you would expect from an instrument that was truly played and appreciated.
