Amazing Les Paul that will go head to head with any Murphy Labs Les Paul on the market!
I hand-selected this Les Paul from a high-end room of over 40 Gibson Custom Shop and one-off Les Pauls. This historic, and in particular the so called "thumbprint" line (notice the wear near the cut looks a bit like a thumbprint) was a short-run from Gibson that punched way above its weight class. This feels like a great late 50s custom shop, with clear definition that cuts through the Les Paul growl we all love.
Definitely not on the boat anchor end of the weight scale, you can play this guy for hours with no issues, and there's a great breadth of tone between the rhythm and lead positions.
Pick this guitar up and I promise you'll be smiling as it stands head to head with Les Pauls that cost 10K and up... don't miss this one!
