A bold blend of vintage inspiration and modern performance, the California Vintage King™ from Fender draws directly from the company’s innovative 1960s acoustic designs. With its distinctive styling and powerful dreadnought voice, this model delivers both visual character and professional-level tone.
Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid ovangkol back and sides, the King produces a rich, bass-forward sound with excellent projection and clarity. Fender’s Performance “X” bracing enhances resonance and responsiveness, making it equally suited for strumming, fingerstyle, and stage use.
The okoume neck features a comfortable modern “V” profile and a 25.5" scale length for smooth playability and strong sustain. A tilt-back 6-in-line headstock and pearloid block inlays give it a unique, retro-inspired look rooted in Fender’s electric guitar heritage.
Equipped with a Fishman Presys VT Plus system, this guitar offers natural, dynamic amplified tone with blend control between undersaddle piezo and internal body transducer—ideal for live performance and recording.
