The Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe they made in 2000 is nothing like the ones made later. Built like a tank and sounds like a dream, it's versatile for every genre of music, tons of blow in rosewood fretboard everything works I don't see a scratch or ding on it.
Looks gorgeous. Not only did they use better tone woods but they used real Rosewood and most importantly the first generation noiseless Fender pickups, which I believe are the best ones they put in these bases. I hate letting this go, but it is what it is. It's sustains forever and just has thunderous low end.. it literally will play anything ..You will love it and it comes in a padded fender bag. The gloss black with red tortoise shell pickguard is arguably my favorite color on these, you can also order any other color pick guard you want for these. A black or white guard will look fantastic on it as well.
