This Kingston was produced in Japan during the 1960s and early 1970s by Teisco and Kawai, with some earlier models possibly made by Guyatone. They were imported to the US in quite big numbers by Westheimer Importing Corporation in Chicago, Illinois and some also found their way to Europe and Sweden.
The Kingstons are known for their unique vintage aesthetics and are known for having a "raw" and "twangy" sound, making them great for blues, slide, or garage rock.
This one is in good overall condition. As often, the trem arm is missing and one dot marker gone. The control plate is missing a small piece by the input jack. The frets have some wear but all in all, this one is in pretty good overall condition. It plays surprisingly easy and all the electronics works. Weight: 2.89kg
