1975 Martin D-35

Few D series guitars have the punch of a Martin made D-35. The bass response and the shimmer across the entire tonal spectrum is quite amazing! And this beauty is in excellent overall condition. If we had only one acoustic in the stable, we might very well opt for a stock D-35. You can see from the accompanying pics how she shines beautifully and is without any significant blemish. Hard to believe that this gal is over 50 years old. The spruce top has extremely minor (you have to turn it just right in the light to see it) superficial pick scratches just south of the sound hole. The pickguard was lifting (as it seems virtually every ‘70’s Martin we work on). We replaced it and secured the thin crack that was below it. Secure and safe now for years to come! The Indian rosewood on the back and sides is aged beautifully, both in appearance and tonal quality. The ebony fretboard is smooth and easy on the hand (We are huge ebony fretboard fans). The frets have plenty left, they're cleaned and shines up for you, and the action coming off the ebony bridge is extremely comfortable. All is original on the guitar (except the afore mentioned pickguard). Comes in fitted hardshell case. This an extremely, extremely well preserved ‘70’s Martin.
