• Markings: The "T" stands for Tenor, and the "LP" stands for Low Pitch. In the early 20th century, instruments were made in either "High Pitch" or "Low Pitch" ($A=440Hz$). Low Pitch is the modern standard, which is good news because it means the instrument can still be played in a modern band or orchestra.
