This is an absolutely beautiful vintage 1965 Gretsch 6122 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman! This guitar is a joy to play and feels smooth and comfortable all the way up and down the fretboard. The electronics work perfectly and produce a fantastic variety of tones. It’s easy to see why these guitars are so highly sought after!

The guitar has small signs of fret use and plays great. It has been kept in overall very good condition for its age, with some small scratches and indentations, finish checking, and some natural patina and aging to the hardware. There is also some binding breakdown and wear, as shown in the pictures. The binding on the back has more wear than the front and could potentially need replacement in the future if desired.

The original palm mute feature works, although the foam will need to be replaced. The tremolo works great and adds even more versatility to this already incredibly fun-to-play guitar.

The original hard case is included and has some small signs of wear. The guitar weighs 8 lbs. 6 oz.
