This Yamaha FGX800C has been transformed into an original Día de los Muertos–inspired artwork, painted almost entirely by hand and built around the guitar’s existing contours. The moonlit palette, calavera portrait and strand of festival lights were designed as a single composition—not applied as a decal or production graphic.
And it remains a fully playable acoustic-electric: solid spruce top, Yamaha pickup/preamp system and cutaway dreadnought body, with the artwork sealed for normal handling and playing.
This is not wall art pretending to be a guitar. It’s meant to be played, written on, and gigged if that’s your thing—just with a look you won’t see anywhere else.
