A really lovely Echolette-branded dynamic microphone, the OEM version of the AKG D12, with all the charm and presence that make these classics so special. This is an especially nice example: the grills look excellent, clean and evenly shaped, with no dents, and the microphone shows no signs of ever having been dropped. Overall it presents as a very well-kept, elegant piece with beautiful vintage character. It comes from the estate of a Hamburg-based recording engineer.

There is a small, typical hairline crack on one side of the housing, purely cosmetic and with no impact on function or stability. The microphone was briefly tested and passes signal.

This is a private sale. Shipping will be done with great care and attention, however with vintage equipment there is always a residual risk that cannot be fully controlled, and shipping risk lies with the buyer. Local pickup and testing are very welcome. The photos are part of the listing and show the exact microphone being sold.

A truly beautiful and honest example.
