The Martin 00-28 carries forward one of Martin’s most beloved traditions: a small-bodied, rosewood-and-spruce acoustic designed for balance, nuance, and musical expression. Rooted in Martin’s historic Style 28 lineage, the 00-28 has long been favored by players who value clarity, comfort, and tonal sophistication over sheer volume. Its Grand Concert body size offers an intimate playing experience while retaining the depth and harmonic complexity that rosewood-bodied Martins are famous for.

Sonically, the 00-28 delivers a beautifully balanced voice with clear, articulate trebles, rich overtones, and a warm, supportive low end that never overwhelms. It excels at fingerstyle, folk, Americana, and singer-songwriter applications, while remaining responsive enough for light to moderate strumming. The shorter 24.9" scale length and refined GE Modified Low Oval neck make it exceptionally comfortable for long sessions, intricate passages, and expressive dynamics.

For 2025, Martin’s refreshed Standard Series elevates the 00-28 even further with Sitka spruce GE scalloped bracing inspired by the Modern Deluxe Series, enhancing sustain, responsiveness, and vintage-style warmth. Elegant details like bold herringbone trim, antique white binding, ebony appointments, and abalone inlays complete a guitar that feels timeless, refined, and deeply musical — a trusted companion for players seeking tone, comfort, and inspiration in equal measure. Available now, this elegant acoustic workhorse ships with a sturdy hardshell case for convenient transport and premium protection.
